Colin Gilchrist established Socket & C in 1989. He has been in the motor trade industry since he left school. He became a qualified City & Guilds car mechanic and then went on to run an MOT Testing Centre. Staying within the motor trade, the company was then created to provide tools, garage equipment and workshop consumables. Since then, we have strived to find the best quality tools at competitive prices.

Colin has built up the business and over the years has provided all aspects of tools supplies to the motor trade, ranging from independent garages to car dealerships and can supply to anywhere in the United Kingdom.
